If you need help now, you could try looking at Psychology Today, www.psychologytoday.com, or if you are local to the north coast of California, The North Coast Association of Mental Health Professionals, https://ncamhp.org, which lists local therapists when you put in your zip code.

Good Faith Estimate for Health Care Services Under the No Surprises Act
Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, health care providers are required to provide a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges for services to individuals not enrolled in a health care plan or not seeking to file a claim both orally and in writing, upon request or at the time of scheduling services. This estimate is to inform of the expected charges they may be billed for receiving services. A Good Faith Estimate must be provided within 3 business days upon request or within 1 business day of scheduling an appointment that is happening in 3 business days; and within 3 business days of scheduling an appointment to be provided in at least 10 business days.
It is my policy to send Good Faith Estimates with intake paperwork for incoming self pay clients and update the Good Faith Estimate for existing clients as needed.
